As our business aims to deliver its ambitious growth strategy, we are looking for a SHE Manager to join our Ditton (Widnes) site. The role involves providing specialist advice and coordinating the safe and efficient operation of the site concerning SHE management and all relevant regulations.

* Strong experience in a similar role within the chemical/manufacturing industry
* Expertise in Occupational Health
* Knowledge of site processes, SHE legislation, and industry standards
* Effective communication skills, capable of building relationships and producing high-quality written work
* Excellent planning and organisational skills
* Proven record of achieving objectives and targets in project management
* Project management qualification is advantageous
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Ensuring compliance with external SHE standards, regulations, and legislation
* Monitoring and improving SHE performance on site, communicating safety matters to all employees
* Maintaining risk control programmes and procedures to minimise risks and manage emergencies
* Owning and developing SHE management systems
* Setting standards for employee competency and managing SHE risks
* Communicating effectively with all levels within the site, external SHE bodies, auditors, regulators, customers, and suppliers
* Reporting and presenting on broader SHE topics
