McCarthy Stone is the UK's leading retirement living provider. We are seeking a House Manager to oversee our estate at Scott Place in Lichfield, Staffordshire.
Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, throughout the year.
Salary: £21,490.34 (actual) plus benefits and bonus.

About the Role of a House Manager
We are looking for a customer-focused House Manager to uphold our high standards of customer service. The role aims to enhance our Homeowners’ quality of life and support their independence. Responsibilities include high-level customer service, front-of-house duties, facilities management, community engagement through events and meetings, and collaboration with partners and suppliers. Experience in front-line services or customer service management is preferred.
Key duties include:
* Welcoming new Homeowners and assisting them in settling in.
* Providing professional front-of-house service and greeting visitors.
* Being the primary contact for Homeowners, offering support and advice.
* Coordinating with partners and suppliers for estate management.
* Representing McCarthy Stone to residents’ families and friends.
* Handling issues with sensitivity, confidentiality, and respect for privacy.
* Managing gardens and grounds to ensure a safe, secure, and pleasant environment.
* Facilitating social activities to promote retirement living enjoyment.
* Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety standards.

* Resilience and effective problem-solving skills.
* Basic Health and Safety knowledge is advantageous.
* Computer literacy in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
* First aid qualifications are a plus, with training provided.
