This position reports to the Logistics Operations Manager and provides for the joint supervision of all local site supply administration and inbound supply chain activities to ensure that raw materials, goods and services are procured in a timely and cost effective manner in order to ensure continuity of production according to the appropriate specifications and European Procedures.

Responsibilities
* Procurement of / Call off under contract: Raw materials feedstocks, Packaging, Stationery, Office equipment, Services, consumables, etc., and monitoring budgets of same.
* Process purchase orders or requisitions generated by the SAP system for inventory and non-inventory items.
* Assist in the production of monthly forecast updates for captive & raw material requirements (3 month rolling) and issue to central planning by given deadline; apply similar forecast process for external suppliers.
* Ensure local Departments comply with correct procedures for procurement as laid down by LYB Europe Procedure.
* Maintain updated Departmental Quality Procedures for raw materials procurement, receipt, issue and traceability, including raising and resolving supplier complaints.
* Produce purchasing reports / statistics as required.
* Control release of requisitions and obtain correct authorisations.
* Contract management for site services including administrative contract support for departmental managers.
* Collaborate with Central Procurement Team and implement locally European procurement directives.
* Obtain quotations, propose new suppliers, and liaise with Central Purchasing.
* Coordinate with local plant Production Planner, Shift Management and wider logistics team.
* Provide essential business information (raw material prices, costings, payment terms, contracts, forecasting).
* Receive, monitor and distribute supplier and internal enquiries as appropriate.
* Monitor stocks to prevent ageing and obsolescence.
* Support wider department or business aims as requested.
You Bring This Value
Education: Educated to A level standard or similar business-related qualification or relevant experience.
Work Experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience in material management, goods and services in a supply administration environment.

What We Offer
We offer an attractive compensation package with a competitive starting salary, dependent on skills and experience. Participation in the Company’s discretionary short-term incentive (bonus) programme is available. Current full-year target bonus for this position is 6% of base salary. Holiday entitlement is 25 days per year plus bank holidays. 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Pension scheme with employer contributions up to 10%. Group Life & Income Protection insurances, Health Cash Plan and Cycle to Work Scheme.
