An exciting job role has recently become available at Powys County Council. They are looking for a new member for their Learning Disabilities Team.

Responsibilities:
* To work with people with Learning Disabilities and their carers to achieve personal outcomes and to enhance their independence and coping skills.
* To work within current legislation and Council policy, procedures and practice to assess, commission and review services, including planned interventions, for the client group.
* To work within the statutory guidance and policy/procedural framework to assist in protecting those who are at risk or vulnerable.
What we are looking for in a Social Worker:
* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
* Twice weekly payroll
