What You’ll Be Doing:
* Lead and deliver end-to-end electrical design for a wide range of projects
* Work in close coordination with structural, civil, and geotechnical teams
* Prepare, review, and manage complete design documentation: drawings, specs, and technical reports
* Ensure all designs meet UK regulations (including CDM, BS/EN standards)
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of knowledge-sharing and development
* Attend project meetings, undertake site visits and support bid/tender processes
What We’re Looking For:
* Solid experience in electrical design for infrastructure, buildings, rail, or construction
* Strong grasp of systems such as:
o LV/HV distribution
o Lighting (internal, external, emergency)
o Power systems and load assessments
o Standby generation and UPS
o Earthing and bonding
* Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, MicroStation, Amtech, Hevacomp, Dialux, or similar
* Minimum of HND in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field
* Working knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* Ideally progressing toward IEng/CEng (IET, CIBSE) or keen to do so
