Revive Education are currently supporting one of its well-established client with an Apprentice rolewithin their organisation. The Early Years Apprentice will support qualified practitioners in providing high-quality care, learning, and development for children aged 0–5 years. This role combines practical experience in the setting with formal training toward a recognised Early Years qualification. Key Responsibilities * Support the delivery of a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for all children * Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) * Help observe, record, and contribute to children’s learning and development * Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues * Support children with personal care routines, including mealtimes and toileting * Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare requirements at all times * Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming learning environment * Work alongside experienced staff to develop knowledge, skills, and confidence * Attend college/training sessions and complete coursework as required * Act professionally and reflect the values and ethos of the setting Training and Development * Working towards a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Apprenticeship * Ongoing support, mentoring, and supervision from qualified staff * Opportunity for progression into a permanent Early Years Practitioner role upon successful completion Person Specification Essential: * A genuine interest in working with young children * Willingness to learn and develop new skills * Good communication and teamwork skills * Reliable, punctual, and committed to the apprenticeship programme * Basic literacy and numeracy skills Desirable: * Previous experience with children (paid or voluntary) * GCSEs in English and Maths (or willingness to work towards them) * Understanding of safeguarding and child development (training provided) Safeguarding This role is subject to enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory references.
