Congleton Garden Machinery is a well-established family business, trading since 1989 within the Garden Machinery, ATV and UTV and ground care business with an extensive customer base. We are looking for a sales and parts advisor to join our team and help with the continued growth of our business.
THE ROLE
* Assist customers with inquiries regarding parts and equipment.
* Taking parts and machine sales orders from customers over the phone, email, via the website or face to face then loading them on to a stock system
* Managing parts/sales orders. Chasing suppliers, keeping customers informed of the progress of their orders, sending invoices and taking payment
* Provide expert advice on product selection based on customer needs.
* Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock management.
* Process orders efficiently to ensure timely delivery.
* Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery.
* Stay updated on new products and industry trends.
* Working with our engineers and suppliers in locating parts for machine repairs
* Booking in parts
* Help to drive In-store, telephone and online, parts and machinery sales.
* Resolving customer queries
* Booking in customer workshop jobs
* Support in the packing, franking and shipping of parts sales.
THE PERSON
* Experience of working in a customer facing role
* Good people skills and the ability to build rapport with customers and team
* Ability to think on your feet and work in a fast-paced environment
* Confidence in negotiating sales and dealing with customer complaints
_ Additional Attributes Preferable But Not Essential _
* Knowledge of machinery and/or parts within farming, garden, quads industry.
* Ability to read parts diagrams
* Fork-lift licence
