Maintenance Manager

We are Piglets Adventure Farm—a highly-rated family attraction in Yorkshire that thrives on fun, creativity, and delivering outstanding visitor experiences. From our daily tractor rides and animal shows to our spectacular Christmas event, attention to detail is everything we do.
We're searching for an energetic, Maintenance Manager to anchor our operational team. This senior position requires a practical, hands-on leader who can ensure the entire park—attractions, buildings, and our ambitious seasonal installations—runs safely and smoothly. What You'll Be Doing
* Direct Operations: Lead and manage the maintenance team responsible for all park assets: buildings, play equipment, vehicles, and grounds maintenance.
* Active Maintenance: Be the first responder for maintenance issues. You'll be hands-on with both planned maintenance schedules and fast-paced reactive repairs.
* Creative Build Outs: Take ownership of the technical setup and support for major seasonal events. You'll partner with the owners to build and install bespoke creative features that define the visitor experience.
* Supporting the wider team: Work as part of the Duty Manager rota, supporting visitor service operations and ensuring the entire park runs efficiently.
* Safety First: Ensure complete compliance with all health & safety standards and maintain meticulous records of all checks, repairs, and contractor work.
* Leading by Example: Mentor and inspire the maintenance team, setting a visible standard for safety, efficiency, and teamwork across the park.

* A seasoned professional with experience in facilities management, maintenance leadership, or a relevant trade.
* Someone who uses their initiative to solve problems independently and takes genuine pride in their work.
* An adaptable team player who can successfully navigate a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
* Comfortable being on the front lines, stepping in to support colleagues and interact with visitors as part of the Duty Manager team.
* Physically fit and prepared to work outdoors year-round, regardless of the weather.
