We're on the lookout for a fantastic permanent, full-time teacher to join our Outstanding girls' school in Harrow, starting this September. This is a brilliant opportunity to share your enthusiasm and deepen our students' appreciation for physical concepts across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.
What you'll be doing:
* You'll be designing and delivering captivating Physics lessons, sparking curiosity about everything from forces and motion to energy and waves.
* It's all about guiding our students through diverse scientific topics, encouraging scientific investigation, and fostering critical thinking skills.
* You'll cultivate a vibrant and inquiry-based learning environment where students feel genuinely engaged and excited to learn.
What we're looking for:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a genuine specialism in Physics and the ability to teach general Science at Key Stage 3 and Chemistry/Biology to Key Stage 4.
* Experience teaching engaging and effective Physics lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
* A deep and current understanding of physical principles, plus that unique ability to make the subject accessible and truly relevant.
* Excellent communication skills, strong classroom management, and a safe pair of hands for practical experiments!
