Role responsibilities:
* Making inbound and outbound calls to customers regarding outstanding payments
* Providing a high level of customer service with empathy and professionalism
* Speaking with customers experiencing financial difficulties and collecting key information
* Negotiating affordable payment plans in line with company policies
* Referring vulnerable customers to relevant internal departments or support agencies
* Maintaining accurate customer records and updating the CRM system
* Supporting customers with advice and signposting where appropriate
What we’re looking for:
* Experience in a call centre, customer service or collections role
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* A positive attitude and strong work ethic with an empathetic approach
* Comfortable working to KPIs and in a target-driven environment
* Able to work under pressure and use initiative
* Familiarity with CRM systems and general IT competency
* Must live within a commutable distance to the Sheffield office
