Project Co-ordinator - ‘Our Bay, Our Future’
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Morecambe Bay Curriculum’s ‘Our Bay, Our Future’ project, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. Lancaster and Morecambe College are seeking a Project Co-ordinator with a passion for sustainability and environmental issues, alongside experience of working with young people.
The purpose of the role is to support with the recruitment and delivery of this innovative climate action project, empowering young people from across the Bay area to engage with the Green Passport and Green Leaders programmes, which develop environmental awareness, leadership and employability skills.
This role requires flexibility, creativity, and excellent communication skills. You should have an interest in Morecambe Bay and be willing to travel across the Bay area. Based primarily at the College’s main campus, you will work with schools, colleges, universities and community groups across Lancashire and Cumbria, encouraging young people to become change-makers within their local communities and chosen sectors.
