About the role
* Lead, coach and develop a team of 12 ER Policy Advisors to deliver high quality ER advice and case management support to line managers at all levels across the organisation on a wide range of complex and sensitive people management issues including attendance, performance, conduct, raising concerns, Equality Act, capability, and other employee relations issues.
* Manage the delivery of the advice line and case management services including workload allocation and service performance, ensuring compliance with SLAs and quality standards.
* Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
* Provide expert input on complex people matters, ensuring appropriate risk management.
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with HR CofE teams, HR Business Partners, Legal and other key stakeholders to ensure delivery of an effective and efficient service.
* Reporting into the ER Advisory Services Manager you will collaborate with wider HR teams and stakeholders to address complex ER matters and trends.
* Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of the ER Advisory Service.
About You

* Experience of leading HR, Employee Relations team to deliver business needs and targets.
* Analytical skills, able to interpret various data to inform resourcing decisions, spot enquiries trends and use insights to inform service improvements.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team.
* CIPD qualified.
* Strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of employment laws and regulations, HR best practices.
* Strong communication skills with ability to influence.
* Ability to work in partnership with customers/stakeholders.
* Experience of driving continuous improvement culture.
