The PCN Business Support Officer is a key member of the PCNs operational team, working closely with Clinical Directors, PCN executive members, Digital and Transformation Managers, and wider PCN staff.
The role provides high quality administrative and organisational support across the PCNs, including general administration, meeting coordination and minute taking, internal and external reporting, and programme and planning support. The post holder will play an important role in ensuring effective coordination, strong governance, and compliance with contractual and organisational requirements.
This is a 30 hour per week vacancy.

Main duties of the job
* Provide primary administrative and business support to the four PCNs, working closely with Clinical Directors and PCN teams to ensure services operate efficiently and effectively.
* Organise and coordinate meetings, including agenda preparation, minute taking, circulation of documentation, and timely follow‑up of agreed actions.
* Support the management and delivery of PCN services by assisting with monitoring contractual requirements and agreed performance metrics.
* Communicate relevant information, updates, briefings, and reports to the PCN Operations Team Leads and other key stakeholders as required.
* Work alongside PCN practice staff and the HR Team to support the recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new PCN employees.

The role holder will provide high quality administrative support to the PCN Team including general administration, arranging meetings and taking minutes, reporting activity internally and externally, and supporting planning and programme support to ensure compliance with required standards.
Experience
* Previous experience in an administration role
* Experience of arranging meetings
* Experience of minute taking
* Knowledge and experience of working with GP Practices, CCGs, councils or GP Federations
