Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator Needed in Preston
1. Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (Saturday rota)
2. Salary: Up to £50,000 OTE (basic + bonus, DOE)
Our client, a leading and well-established Bodyshop Group, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator to join their professional team in Preston. You will work alongside a skilled team of four VDA professionals within a modern, well-equipped repair centre.

Key Responsibilities of the Vehicle Damage Assessor:
6. Inspect and assess damaged vehicles, identifying repair methods and accurately estimating costs and timeframes
7. Prepare and complete detailed repair estimates using Autoflow and Audatex systems
8. Liaise effectively with customers, insurers, and internal teams to ensure smooth repair authorisation and workflow
9. Monitor the repair process to ensure work is completed to manufacturer and insurance standards
10. Maintain detailed and accurate records while ensuring compliance with company and industry procedures
What We’re Looking For:
11. Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator within a Bodyshop environment
12. Proficiency in Audatex (essential) and familiarity with Autoflow systems (advantageous)
13. Strong repair method knowledge with excellent attention to detail
14. Exceptional organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple jobs effectively
15. ATA VDA accreditation preferred but not essential
