Branch Manager – Lords Builders Merchants Byfleet

We’re looking for a practical, people-focused Branch Manager to lead our small but busy Byfleet branch. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a well-established location, build strong customer connections, and guide a close-knit team.
Byfleet branch plays an important role in the community and within the wider Lords network — and we’re looking for someone who can help it thrive.
Responsibilities:
* Overseeing day-to-day operations including sales, customer service, stock control, and team supervision
* Working alongside your team to deliver excellent service and build trusted relationships with trade customers
* Driving local business growth through strong customer engagement and proactive sales efforts
* Managing inventory accuracy and maintaining a safe, well-run site
* Supporting and developing your team to ensure high standards and positive morale

Requirements :
* Experience in a branch or team management role within the builders’ merchant or building supplies industry
* Confident communicator and team leader with a hands-on approach
* Good understanding of Health & Safety and operational compliance
* Proactive, customer-focused mindset with a practical eye for detail
* Organised, approachable, and ready to take ownership of a small branch with big potential
