**Job Description:**
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our team and perform hook lift skip work. This position requires operating hook lift vehicles and compactors to collect, transport, and dispose of waste materials. You will be working 0630am – 1630pm Monday to Friday.
This position is a permanent role
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Safely operate Class 2 hook lift vehicles for waste collection and transportation.
– Perform regular maintenance checks and ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
– Efficiently load and unload skips using hook lift mechanisms.
– Handle and operate compactors for waste compaction.
– Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
– Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.
**Requirements:**
– Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving license as well as your CPC & Digital Tachograph.
– Previous experience in hook lift skip work and compactor operation is essential.
– Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
– Good communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
