Commutable from Northampton, Kettering, Huntingdon, Corby, Bedford, Rushden£50,000 (Rising to £55,000 after probation) + Overtime
Shifts:- 12hr Panama Days & Nights

Our client is a leading FMCG manufacturing business, part of a global business that is vastly expanding its products base. They are looking for an experienced Site Services Engineer to join their growing engineering department
Role & Responsibilities:
* Working as part of a large engineering department and alongside X4 other site services engineers
* Carry out daily PPM's and reactive engineering maintenance of all utilities on site
* Daily, weekly & monthly checks & tests on all systems in the utilities/site services department
* Dealing with air compressors, refrigeration, industrial boilers, steam systems, AHU's, cooling towers, water treatment plant & softeners
* Managing and controlling the waste water treatment plant
* General site services maintenance of fire alarms, sprinkler systems, lighting and power
* Carry out boiler checks in accordance with BOAS
* Legionella controls & compliance
* Managing on site contractors
* Ordering and monitoring of associated chemicals
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Must have at least 3 years experience in a similar role within food/FMCG manufacturing
* Time-served and qualified electrically biased engineer
* NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 qualified as minimum
* 17th or 18th Edition would be beneficial
* Knowledge of quality control ISO documentation, daily checks & testing in utilities
* Able to work unsupervised and discuss technical issues
* Refrigeration and ammonia knowledge
* Dealt with air compressors, industrial boilers, water & waste water treatment plant, cooling towers, AHU's
* Must have experience with steam boilers operating at 15 bar + BOAS Standards
* Able to identify and suggest improvements
* Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies would be beneficial
* Must be physically fit, lots of walking, climbing, lifting etc.
* Previously have dealt with chemicals associated with site services/utilities
