Location: Hybrid working with a mandatory two days a week in the office. The role includes client site(s) visits.
About the role
An exciting opportunity for a highly motivated candidate to join an expanding consultancy focused on making compliance a force for good as a Data Protection Analyst Apprentice.
Responsibilities
* Assisting in the delivery of our support desk service.
* Assisting in delivering client projects to a high quality (in-person and remote).
* Liaising with the client’s internal teams to develop a plan to identify, design and implement the required processes, procedures, and controls.
* Supporting clients and their third parties in assessing the maturity of their data protection controls.
* Researching solutions for clients – for example, if a client would like a password manager, research must be done into the available programs to provide the client with details of the solutions available.
* Providing support and input into the development and maintenance of the data protection toolkit.
* Staying on top of the latest developments by attending seminars and writing articles.
* Work in accordance with our information security management system and data protection practices.
Qualifications & Skills

* Be enthusiastic, self‑motivated and a quick learner.
* Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
* Good standard of computer literacy in systems such as Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
* Knowledge of IT covering networks, operating systems, storage, cloud platforms, and office productivity software.

* Comfortable in engaging with new people.
* Excellent project and time management skills.

* Qualifications in business, IT or law.
