Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It’s our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.
The table shows the periods of time in the week we’d like you to be available to work - the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have 3 weeks’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility for our colleagues, therefore if the times you are available to work match closely but not exactly to the times we are advertising, we’d still love to hear from you. Our Customer Delivery Drivers get the opportunity to meet and talk to different customers in their homes every day. This role is hands-on, physical, and varied. No two shifts are the same, and customers seek help in many ways. You’ll feel independent, delivering to customers, with support from your team back at base.

Responsibilities
* Ensure the van and trays are clean and organized.
* Keep the backyard tidy and pick up litter.
* Wash trays as required.
* Load the van, check its roadworthiness.
* Discuss order changes with customers, handle substitutions, and refunds.
* Handle products carefully.
* Explain substitution charges to customers.
* Deliver within the scheduled time slots.
* Call customers if early or late.
Requirements
* Build positive relationships with colleagues.
* Be warm and welcoming to customers and colleagues.
* Respond quickly to customer needs and adapt to change.
* Be energetic and motivated to exceed expectations.
* Share ideas to improve store service.
* Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
