About the Role
Search Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Data Engineer to join a leading infrastructure and construction project based in the B6 area of Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional seeking long-term, stable work with a reputable contractor. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and delivering data-driven solutions, supporting project operations through accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, maintain, and optimise data systems and databases to support project delivery.
* Collect, process, and interpret data from multiple sources to ensure project efficiency and accuracy.
* Work closely with the project and engineering teams to provide insights and data solutions.
* Maintain data integrity, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
* Troubleshoot data issues and implement system improvements as required.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role in construction, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
* Strong understanding of data architecture, databases, and analysis tools.
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Relevant engineering or data-related qualification preferred.
* Right to work in the UK.
