Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-orientated Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and hands-on experience with Xero, Sage and Quickbooks. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the team with up-to-date financial information. A part time position will be considered if required for the right candidate. Salary is also open to negotiation depending upon experience.
Responsibilities
* Record day to day financial transcactions and ensure accuracy of postings
* Reconcile bank accounts and supplier statements
* Process invoices, expenses and payroll journals
* Prepare VAT returns
* Maintain organised financial records and support year end processes
* Liase with Directors, accounts and payroll team along with liasing with clients
* Provide exceptional customer service to clients
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper
* Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and VAT
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, work independently and manage deadlines
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
