Aggreko is a global energy solutions provider. We’re looking for a Mechanical Workshop Technician based in our Dumbarton Manufacturing Facility, Dumbarton, Scotland, United Kingdom.

What You’ll Do
* Fault finding/repair of diesel generators
* Load testing of generators 20-2000KVA
* Major engine repairs and overhauls
* Assess genset condition on returning fleet to SRC
* Modification/upgrades to genset fleet
* Knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems
* Knowledge of engine ECM programming/diagnostics would be advantageous
* Programming of control modules
You’ll Have The Following Skills And Experience
* Technical capability (Power)
* Strong mechanical background
* A City and Guilds/ONC level 3 qualification or equivalent
* Good level of PC literacy including basic MS Office applications
* Well organized and capable of keeping vehicle to GSCS standards
* Able to manage a client’s expectations when under pressure
