Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Tamworth for a Mechanical Design Engineer. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks of designing, developing, and overseeing the manufacturing of mechanical systems and products. Tasks include automation concepts, designing systems, product development, performing mechanical engineering calculations, and utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create detailed drawings. The engineer will work closely with other team members in engineering, R&D, and production to bring cutting-edge solutions to market.
Qualifications
* Design Engineering, Machine Design, and Mechanical Engineering skills
* Proficiency in Product Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
* Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
* Experience in the manufacturing or automotive industry is a plus
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
