The Trust is committed to supporting the post holder in developing their career within Obstetrics and Gynaecology. This is a great opportunity to take up a Laparoscopic fellow position in Obstetrics and Gynaecology based at the Royal Cornwall Hospital NHS Trust. This post is for a 1 year fixed term contract (renewable for up to 24 months) to develop Minimal access skills and knowledge.
NTN holders, CCT holders, Specialty doctors eligible to apply.
The post holder will join the middle-grade rota working a 1 in 8 on call for O&G.
Applicants are required to be GMC registered.
Responsibilities
* Development of skill and expertise in Minimal Access Surgery and the appropriate management of patients and their associated conditions, working alongside the Endometriosis team.
* Clinical and non-clinical work in the middle grade in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
* Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of Obstetrics and Gynaecology patients.
* Active participation in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and Audit.
* Attend meetings as appropriate.
Fulfill duties of the weekly timetable, including any out-of-hours responsibilities (where applicable).
