An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 physiotherapist to join the Community MSK Assessment & Physiotherapy Service (CMAPS). The service includes MSK rehabilitation, First Contact Physiotherapy, Advanced Physiotherapy & administration team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Band 7 Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist / Clinical Team Leader to join our physiotherapy service. The post will require you to assess patients within a health centre setting and perform unsupervised, comprehensive assessment using a high level of clinical knowledge and experience.
Utilise your clinical reasoning to manage a varied caseload with support from peers, APPs and Clinical Lead. There are excellent CPD opportunities in a friendly and supportive environment that includes a weekly clinical support group, clinical supervision and IST.
Responsibilities
* Undertake all MSK aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner acting as a specialist for MSK and seeking support when appropriate for non‑MSK conditions or concerns.
* Support the Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners and Therapy Leads in taking a lead role within area of specialism, providing advanced therapy assessment and treatment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions.
* Serve as a source of expertise, identify, analyse, evaluate and problem‑solve to enable the development and delivery of individualized intervention and treatment programmes.
* Role model positive, inclusive and compassionate leadership.
Qualifications
* Substantial postgraduate experience of working in musculoskeletal specialties.
* Experience in leading a team, with excellent mentoring skills and inclusive, compassionate leadership.
* Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
