Position: Freelance / Part-Time Bid Writer
Location: Remote (UK-based, occasional Derbyshire meetings if needed)

Purpose of the Role
The Bid Writer will be responsible for preparing compelling, high-quality submissions for tenders, frameworks, accreditations, and awards. They will play a key role in helping D&M Property Group expand into new markets and secure long-term contracts.
Key Responsibilities
* Research and monitor tender opportunities relevant to construction, frameworks, and property development.
* Write, edit, and submit bids, PQQs, and tender responses to strict deadlines.
* Work with Directors, Estimator, and Site team to gather project examples, policies, financials, and technical content.
* Build and maintain a library of bid content (case studies, H&S responses, policies, method statements).
* Support with accreditation submissions (SafeContractor, CHAS, Constructionline, etc.).
* Draft content for awards and PR features where required.
* Advise on bid strategy, compliance, and ways to increase success rates.
Person Specification
Essential:
* Proven experience in writing successful bids/tenders (preferably construction/property).
* Strong written communication skills with attention to detail.
* Organised, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple submissions.
* Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of public procurement, frameworks, and construction sector requirements.
* Familiarity with SafeContractor/CHAS/Constructionline.
* Ability to contribute ideas on bid strategy and business growth.
