Successful candidates will be invited to complete customer service testing, which is part of the interview process. Initial training will last between 4-6 weeks.
Testing and interviews are scheduled for Tuesday, 15th July 2025. This is the only date set for the interview process.
* Position: Customer Service Adviser, fixed term until 31.03.2026, 27.5 hours/week, salary £26,447 – £28,418 (pro rata), with 10% shift allowance. Public holiday working is essential.
Proposed hours:
* Monday to Friday, 17:00-22:30

The Customer Service Centre provides a range of local services to the community. We seek a dedicated professional with experience in a performance-driven environment and good local knowledge. The role requires maintaining composure, empathy, and supportiveness in routine and emergency situations.
If you have good local knowledge, a passion for high standards, and take pride in your work, we want to hear from you. The role involves providing confidential advice, offering council and community information, resolving inquiries, requesting services, and handling complaints.
You should be customer-focused, target-driven, and capable of working in a challenging yet rewarding environment. Experience in contact centers handling telephone, email, and social media communications is desirable. After completing full training, which may take up to 6 months, hybrid working arrangements may be considered.
