Accounts Assistant
Caerwys
Salary: £32,000+
Full-time | Hybrid & Flexible Working
The Opportunity An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable / Bookkeeper to join a well-established business based in Caerwys on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a busy, hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing high volumes of financial data.
Key Responsibilities
- High-volume invoice processing, ensuring accuracy and timely input
- Matching, batching and coding invoices
- Managing supplier queries and reconciling supplier statements
- Banking cash and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting with payment runs
- Assisting with month-end processes
- Maintaining purchase and sales ledgers
- General bookkeeping duties
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc accounting tasks
About You
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable and/or bookkeeping
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders
- Proactive and organised approach to workload
