With a focus on elegance, functionality, and timeless design, the studio have established ourselves as industry leaders, consistently exceeding client expectations with attention to detail and commitment to excellence.As an FF&E Designer within this reputable studio, you will play a crucial role in transforming conceptual designs into captivating realities by selecting and specifying furnishings, materials, and accessories that enhance the overall aesthetic and functionality of their projects.Responsibilities:* Collaborate closely with interior designers, architects, and project managers to develop FF&E concepts that align with the client’s vision, budget, and timeline.* Research and source furniture, lighting, fabrics, finishes, and accessories from a diverse range of suppliers, ensuring quality, durability, and design integrity.* Prepare comprehensive FF&E specifications, schedules, and budgets, providing detailed documentation for procurement and installation.* Create mood boards, material palettes, and presentation packages to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.* Attend supplier meetings, showroom visits, and industry events to stay informed about the latest trends, products, and innovations in interior design.* Oversee the procurement process, including reviewing quotes, negotiating pricing, and coordinating deliveries to meet project deadlines.* Collaborate with the project team during the installation phase, ensuring that FF&E items are installed correctly and according to design specifications.* Conduct post-installation evaluations and address any issues or concerns to ensure client satisfaction and project success.Requirements:* Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.* Proven experience as an FF&E Designer, preferably within a high-end residential or hospitality design firm.* Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software.* Strong knowledge of furniture styles, materials, finishes, and suppliers.* Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.* Ability to multitask, prioritise deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.* A keen eye for detail, creativity, and a passion for design excellence.Benefits:* Starting salary commensurate with experience (£35,000 – £45,000pa)* Opportunities for professional development and growth.* A collaborative and supportive work environment.* Access to industry events, workshops, and networking opportunities.With smart offices and excellent transport links, the position will be office based.
