We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to help children develop key skills and thrive during their crucial Key Stage 2 years. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a KS2 Teaching Assistant:
* Support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons across KS2.
* Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning in core subjects such as reading, writing, and maths.
* Assist with preparing resources, setting up activities, and maintaining attractive classroom displays.
* Support pupils with additional needs to ensure they can fully access the curriculum.
* Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage a positive, inclusive learning environment.
* Supervise pupils during break times, lunchtimes, trips, and school events as required.
* Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
Ideal KS2 Teaching Assistant:
* Previous experience working with primary-aged children is desirable.
* A good understanding of the KS2 curriculum is an advantage.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills as a KS2 Teaching Assistant.
* A patient, supportive, and proactive approach to helping children succeed.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
