Kitchen Crew Leader (Hotel Cook) - MOXY Aberdeen Airport
This position is based on a full time contract.
How exciting would it be to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment preparing the food for our guests and ensuring they leave with a great all round experience?
We are looking for someone to work in our kitchen operation at Moxy Aberdeen Airport. We are a busy hotel where guests are looking for quick but nutritious meals.
You dont need to be a chef but you do need to have a passion for food, be organised, and be able to work under pressure.
Experience of Merry chefs would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given.
Main Tasks & responsibilities
* Prepare food using Merry chefs
* Present food in line with brand standards
* Preparation, set-up, service, clean up and restocking of the appropriate prep areas of food
* Restock, take deliveries, plan orders, and organize BOH areas
* Cleanliness of the kitchen area
* Full ownership of FIFO system (first in first out) of food items
* Follow all food safety policies to work safely
* Food handling according to HACCP regulations (product rotation, temperature maintenance and record keeping, storage procedures etc.)
* A positive attitude and ability to create a buzz in the kitchen

* Skilled multi tasker who can balance hard work with great service and thinking ahead
* Clear communicator, fluent in English (and other languages a plus!)
Useful Experience
* Experience within the service industry
* Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws
* Personal experience of travel and travel industry
