Handle Recruitment is seeking an experienced events specialist to step into a fast-moving contract position with a global and prestigious tech brand! *This is a contract to begin ASAP until end of September initially. Hybrid working in Central London and international travel across Europe, day rate equivalent to £55k-£50k annual salary.* This role offers the chance to be at the heart of delivering engaging developer experiences across Europe, supporting innovative events. You'll be organising a diverse programme of workshops, presentations, and community gatherings, ensuring every detail runs smoothly from planning through to post-event follow-up. In this role you will: Assisting with the planning and coordination of multiple events across European cities, managing logistics, approvals, and vendor arrangements Supporting content logistics, including materials, rehearsals, and attendee registration, ensuring everything is prepared ahead of each event Coordinating event promotion and internal assets, liaising with marketing teams and ensuring smooth communication across all stakeholders Providing on-site support during events, helping with setup, attendee check-in, and troubleshooting to ensure a seamless experience Contributing to post-event reporting, tracking attendance, engagement data, and capturing insights for future improvements To be successful in this role you will have: Proven experience in coordinating events, projects, or operational activities at scale Attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams Clear communication skills, comfortable asking questions and flagging issues early Adaptability to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment Willingness to travel regularly across the UK and Europe Please apply now for a further conversation!
