*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and machinery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
*Duties*
* Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
* Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and manual techniques.
* Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as required.
* Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while working in the workshop or on-site.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
*Skills*
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
* Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot issues effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
* Good communication skills for liaising with team members and clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
