Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Specialist Behaviour and Support Mentor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students with behavioural challenges, helping them engage positively with their education and develop essential life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide one-on-one and group support to students with behavioural needs.
2. Develop and implement individualized behaviour support plans.
3. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support student progress.
4. Monitor and report on student behaviour and progress.
5. Create a positive and inclusive school environment.
6. Deliver training and support to staff on behaviour management strategies.
Requirements:
1. Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field.
2. Experience working with secondary school students with behavioural needs.
3. Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Pay rates are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanency later.
