EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial and BAM Nuttall. All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects. We are seeking to recruit a Sub Agent to join our team in the Greatworth to Southam area.
As a Sub Agent you will assist with the construction strategy, including kick-off meetings and pre-commencement documentation such as Method Statements, Environmental and Quality Plans, Construction programmes, procurement and design deliverable schedules. This role will liaise with the Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials and temporary works to carry out activities to the required standards, programme and budget. You will also manage the site engineering team and be responsible for the performance and development of site and Section Engineers. Assisting with the co-ordination of construction operations to ensure they conform to contract requirements and the required level of safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ) is a key part of this role. You will assist with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans and contribute to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliations and cost control.
Responsibilities

* Coordinate with the Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials and temporary works to meet the required standards, programme and budget.
* Manage the site engineering team and develop site and Section Engineers.
* Assist with the co-ordination of construction operations to conform to contract requirements and the required level of safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ).
* Assist with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans and contribute to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliations and cost control.
Qualifications
* HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent.
* Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities with construction supervision skills.
* Previous experience in quality assurance and geotechnical management is preferred.
* Good team skills.
* Must hold a full UK driver’s licence and have access to your own vehicle.
* SMSTS
* Valid CSCS card, either Black, Gold, White, White/Yellow, Red Experienced or Red Provisional (6 months).
