Manpower are currently recruiting for a Processing Operative to join a busy recycling facility. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, with the potential for an immediate start for the right candidate.
Location
1. Site location requires own or reliable transport
Shift Pattern
2. Monday - Friday (6am-2pm/ 3pm-11pm on rotation)
3. 8-hour shifts
4. Shift-based work, which may include weekends
Pay Rate
5. £13.04ph
Key Responsibilities
6. Operating machinery to process lead/ acid safely and efficiently
7. Carrying out manual handling and lifting of heavy materials
8. Following all start-up and shutdown procedures for equipment
9. Ensuring correct use of PPE at all times
10. Assisting with loading/unloading materials where required
11. Completing all necessary paperwork and records accurately
What We're Looking For
Experience
12. Previous experience in a warehouse, recycling, or industrial environment
Skills
13. Strong awareness of health & safety practices
14. Ability to work in a physically demanding role
15. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment
16. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
17. Willingness to learn new machinery and processes
18. Willingness to work with hazardous and corrosive materials
19. Happy working in a high-temperature environment
20. Mandatory use of specialist PPE, including protective suits and respiratory equipment
