Supply Service Representative (SSR)
Location: Sutton, Surrey - Office-based (4 days in office, 1 day remote)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Sales/Supply Service Representative to join our busy Sales Department. This office‑based role is key to ensuring smooth sales and supply operations while delivering excellent customer service. You will be the first point of contact for customers and suppliers, supporting both sales and purchasing functions as required.
Key Responsibilities
Sales‑Side Duties
* Handle incoming customer orders via email and phone and enter them into the ERP system.
* Manage order‑related queries including price, delivery delays, and complaints.
* Maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
* Keep the ERP system up to date and manage workload efficiently.
* Provide support to the wider sales team as needed.
Purchasing‑Side Duties
* Place supplier purchase orders and manage stock levels according to company policies.
* Handle supplier queries such as pricing, delivery delays, or damages.
* Work with internal teams and third‑party warehouses/hauliers to resolve purchase issues.
* Maintain accurate records in the ERP system and manage workload efficiently.
* Support colleagues as needed with ad hoc tasks.
Skills & Experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to build relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
* Resilient, able to multi‑task, and work effectively under pressure.
* Solutions‑focused with the ability to assess situations quickly and implement improvements.
* Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to support the wider team.
* Comfortable working with numbers – quoting, order processing, reporting, and spreadsheets.
* Strong IT skills – confident in Word, Excel, and producing professional emails and letters. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
* Previous administrative experience is advantageous but not essential.
* GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English grade C or higher.
Additional Information
* Office-based in Sutton, Surrey (4 days in office, 1 day remote).
* Paid travel.
* Full-time, Monday‑Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
