We are seeking counselling professionals to provide immediate emotional support at our event, this event is for bereavement and trauma victims based in Chelmsford, Essex. This role involves completing clinical assessments, providing risk assessments, and working in line with the BACP code of ethics to ensure the highest level of service and support is provided. The role must be done on site for an ongoing period of 3 weeks starting from the 9th of September 2024. There will be no elements of remote working.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Efficient and effective counselling
* Thorough understanding of Health Assured products
* Ability to work with a variety of individuals and presenting issues
* Conducting full and robust clinical assessments
* Achieving individual and team goals
Qualifications:
Minimum diploma level 4 in Counselling & minimum of 150 counselling hours
* Accreditation of the BACP or equivalent
* Great communication and customer service skills
* High level of organizational ability and multitasking
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and be motivated by targets
* High level of computer literacy
* Relevant experience of working with safeguarding concerns and suicidal ideation
