Job Description: SEN Tutor

£20 - £25 per hour
Job Duties:
* Provide specialised instruction to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Develop and implement individualised education plans based on students' needs
* Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse learning styles of students
* Assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' learning and development
Required Qualifications:
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team
Education:
Relevant qualification in Special Education or related field
Experience:
Prior experience working as an SEN Tutor
Knowledge and Skills:
* Knowledge of SEN curriculum and teaching techniques
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional certifications in Special Education or related field
* Experience working with a diverse range of SEN students
Working Conditions:
The SEN Tutor role is based in a school setting in Merton, Greater London. Work hours are part-time, and the position is temporary. The role involves working closely with students with SEN, teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the students' learning and development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
