Teaching Assistant - Full-Time
Location: Barking and Dagenham, East LondonSalary: £1,800 - £2,200 per monthStart Date: Immediate / SeptemberContract: Full-time
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Barking and Dagenham is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils across the classroom, helping them to engage with learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential. The role would suit candidates with previous school-based experience, graduates looking to gain experience in education, or individuals passionate about supporting children's development.

Key Responsibilities
* Support teaching and learning across the classroom
* Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
* Assist with lesson preparation and classroom activities
* Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
* Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning
* Work closely with teachers and support staff to meet pupil needs
Requirements
Essential:
* GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
* Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar setting
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desirable:
* Experience as a Teaching Assistant
* Knowledge of SEN and intervention support
* Degree in Education, Psychology, or a related subject
