Main duties of the job
The role is an all-rounded, hands-on administrative position; the postholder will need to confidently demonstrate and utilize key skills such as effective communication, time management, workload prioritization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and prioritize the repeat prescribing process for registered patients across the Division. The postholder will work in collaboration with local divisions (including Divisional Boards) and the National Modality Business Support Team to deliver innovative ways of working to meet the strategic aims of the organization.
This role is not a standard 9 am-5 pm job and is not purely patient-facing; it involves a combination of administrative tasks and customer service. The postholder will need to be innovative, flexible, committed, and resourceful as part of the team to ensure tasks are completed effectively.
