Overview
My well established construction company with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects across multiple industry sectors, mainly with a Government focus, is urgently recruiting an experienced Bid Writer to join our dynamic pre-construction team.
Key Responsibilities
* Write, edit, and coordinate high-quality bid responses for PQQs, ITTs, and RFPs.
* Translate complex technical information into clear, client-focused content.
* Tailor responses to meet specific client requirements and scoring criteria.
* Manage bid timelines and ensure submissions are completed on time.
* Work closely with subject matter experts to gather input and develop winning narratives.
* Maintain and develop a library of standard responses, case studies, CVs, and other supporting documentation.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of the bid process and content quality.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Bid Writer in the construction industry (essential).
* Strong understanding of construction terminology, project delivery methods, and procurement processes.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Adobe InDesign is a plus.
* Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
