Job Description We're looking for a Lead Service Design and Transition Manager to join our Group Finance IT (GFIT) team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a small, dedicated team and make a real impact by ensuring our services are designed to meet operational excellence from day one. What you'll be doing: Leading a team of Service Design specialists to deliver consistent, high-quality service design outcomes Defining and maintaining a repeatable Service Design Framework aligned to project needs Overseeing compliance with Service Transition governance and escalating risks appropriately Building strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery Driving standardisation, automation, innovation and continuous improvement across service design processes Forecasting and managing Service Design demand across portfolios and projects Ensuring timely delivery of service support artefacts including procedures, tooling and knowledge Developing and implementing a roadmap for capability maturity and process improvement Qualifications Who we're looking for: Proven experience in leading service design and transition within a complex IT environment Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks, particularly Service Design and Transition Experience managing and developing a small team of IT professionals A good understanding of Agile and Waterfall based project delivery You'll also be well versed in ITSM platforms - workflows, reporting, CMSB and monitoring/alerting Experience of working in a regulated environment would be a huge plus!
