We currently have a vacancy for a technical support and commissioning engineer based at our UK facility in Winnersh Triangle, Wokingham, RG41 5TP.
This customer-focused role involves providing a wide range of technical support for our broadcast clients in the UK and Europe. We seek a keen and enthusiastic engineer/technician with a strong interest in broadcast or professional AV environments at a technical level.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Provide first-class technical onsite support and service to customers, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
2. Visit customer premises to commission equipment.
3. Provide operational and service training.
4. Assist with customer acceptance testing.
5. Offer direct phone and email support to our customer base.
Basic Qualifications:
* Education in Electronics or Electronic Engineering is advantageous.
* Qualified through industrial or professional experience, with broad digital video and audio experience.
* Experience in testing, servicing, and commissioning video and audio systems is preferred.
* Eagerness to learn about baseband and IP-based products, with the ability to self-educate.
