Outreach Tutor (GCSE English & Maths - SEN/SEMH Support)
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Prospero Teaching is seeking a committed and experienced Outreach Tutor to deliver bespoke 1:1 tuition to young people in Bromley who are currently not attending mainstream education. This role focuses on supporting pupils with GCSE English and Maths, and ideally those with SEN and SEMH needs.
Tutoring sessions may take place during the school day or after school hours, depending on the pupil's availability and needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher (QTS, PGCE) who is passionate about personalised learning and making a difference outside of the traditional classroom setting.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons that help bridge gaps in learning, build confidence, and support academic progress. Many of the pupils may have experienced disrupted education, so a nurturing and flexible approach is essential.
Prospero Teaching will provide ongoing support throughout your placements, helping you monitor progress and ensure each pupil receives high-quality, targeted support.
