Dr Patels Ayurveda Centre is looking for a qualified Ayurvedic therapist to work on a full time basis to support their existing team, at their high end Ayurvedic health centre in Pinner London.
The candidate should be well qualified, experienced and have in depth knowledge about all Ayurvedic therapies and treatments. They should be hard-working, positive minded, enthusiastic, have strong self-initiative, and have a vibrant and engaging personality, excellent written and oral English language communication skills. They should be flexible with day-to-day activities and outstanding client management skills.
The candidate should be a good team player but have the ability to work independently. The work would involve delivering a full range of Ayurvedic massage and beauty treatments including all the classical Ayurvedic therapies like Abyangam, Pizhichil, Udvarthanam, Njavarakizhi, Shirodhara, Panchakarma therapy and other Ayurvedic clinical procedures .

The right candidate has the following skills and qualifications:
* Overseeing the teaching of the Ayurvedic Panchakarma treatments to Junior therapists
* Using knowledge of Ayurvedic Panchakarma Treatments working and communicating with the team at the clinic to give the very best service to every patient through the door
* Massages patients to discover the cause of pain, relieve discomfort, and restore function and mobility and to correct irregularities in body structure, etc.
* Responsible for specialised Indian Ayurvedic massages and treatments like: Abyangam, Pizhichil, Udvarthanam, Njavarakizhi, Shirodhara, Panchakarma therapy and other Ayurvedic clinical procedures .
* Take responsibility of taking and keeping detailed, up to date records for each customer so as to refer to past conditions and treatments and for other departments to be able to view the records so they are able to provide the best service possible at the centre
Duties also include:
* Performing all Indian Ayurvedic massages and treatments as required
* Management regarding daily treatments, materials and resources required for treatments
* Following and adhering to health and safety protocols for clients and self
* Following protocols and procedures in place for conducting daily duties
* Maintaining treatment rooms to the highest standards at all times
* Managing reception and responding to telephone enquirer and making appointments
* Welcoming clients and providing general information about the clinic
* Proactively engaging in all cleanliness requirements of the clinic as and when required
* Essentially participating in all training requirements time to time as decided by the management
* Supervising and training junior staff members, when required
The right candidate has a minimum one to two years experience working in Ayurveda field, is a team player, open, friendly, ready to be part of our growing team and willing to work.
