We are growing our new site team, and we are looking for experienced Shift Managers to support the launch and the embedding of our brand-new site in Rugby. As one of our Shift Managers you will lead and coordinate warehouse operations within our high volume 3PL environment. You will be responsible for managing your shift team, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety, and driving consistent operational performance. We offer a variety of shift patterns across site and availability will be discussed in more detail during the interview stage. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage warehouse operations during your shift, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and on time. Supervise and support a team of warehouse operatives, providing direction, feedback, and motivation. Allocate labour and resources to meet daily targets across picking, packing, goods-in, and goods-out. Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, ensuring all team members follow procedures and safe working practices. Monitor productivity and quality levels, taking action to resolve issues and improve performance. Ensure accurate handling, storage, and movement of stock, supporting stock checks and investigations as needed. Communicate clearly with other departments and deliver thorough shift handovers. Manage equipment use on shift, reporting any defects or maintenance needs. Promote a positive, professional working environment built on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Skills & Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, support, and guide a team. Good understanding of warehouse processes (picking, packing, goods-in, goods-out, stock control). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make confident decisions under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise workload. Knowledge of Health & Safety practices and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Comfortable using warehouse management systems and basic IT tools. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Flexibility to work various shifts and support operational needs.
