We’re looking for a Junior Administrative Assistant to join our team in North Hertfordshire, just outside Hitchin, on an initial 12-month fixed-term basis. This is a full-time onsite role, though part-time and flexi-hours would be considered.. If you have previous experience in an administrative or office support role and/or production support, then this could be the position for you.
This dynamic, hands-on role, will primarily support our busy production Team, while also assisting other departments with a range of key administrative tasks.
To assure smooth daily operations across teams, tasks include:
* Maintain physical and digital filing systems to ensure all projects and corresponding records are accurate and securely stored
* Meticulous organisation and safekeeping of jewellery pieces and parts in our production area, including data entry, filing and tracking movements through project stages
* Assist our gemmologist with categorising and boxing gemstones and precious materials
* Support stock control, ensuring correct labelling and allocating stock across locations
* Assist with preparing and packaging orders for dispatch
* Conduct monthly inventory of brand packaging and marketing materials and reorder when required
* Uphold health and safety protocols in production and admin spaces
* Support general office duties including answering phones, managing emails, checking invoices, data entry and accepting and distributing deliveries to the appropriate teams
This role is ideal if you’re:
* A highly organised, multi-tasker with a keen eye for detail
* Proactive with managing workload and adapting to changing priorities
* An excellent communicator with a collaborative mindset
* Confident using Microsoft Office and willing to learn new systems quickly, particularly in production- related processes
* Educated to GCSE or equivalent level (A-levels/vocational a plus)

This is an in-person role based at our Hertfordshire studio. Due to its rural location, unfortunately, there is no access via public transport. Ample parking is available onsite.
