Our client is a leading packaging manufacturer, part of a multi-billion-pound global group, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. Due to engineering departmental growth, they are looking for an Engineering Supervisor to cover their weekend night shifts + 2 shifts in the week.
Role & Responsibilities:
Maintain all reactive and schedule maintenance on production machinery
Support one other engineer across the weekend nights
Electrical & mechanical fault finding and repairs
Flexible approach to working hours and shifts
Cover predominately planned maintenance work on the weekend night shifts
Working on a variety of industrial processing & packaging machinery
Electrical safety, LOTO, isolation
Dealing with motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, drives, valves, VSD's, circuits
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Looking for a multi-skilled engineer - electrically biased
At least 5 years experience in a similar maintenance engineer role
Minimum level 3 qualified or higher
Must be flexible with working hours and working permanent nights on weekends
Role would suit an experienced engineer that wants to support 1 other engineer
Able to work on own initiative, unsupervised and take the lead on PPM's
Solid electrical & mechanical fault finding skills
Must have worked with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, sensors, drives
