Multitask Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for an Experienced Goods in Operative based in Blackburn. Due to Growth this well established Company is looking for an experienced Goods In Operative with an FLT licence, and similare experience in a previous role.
THE JOB!
* Breakdown of sterile product onto Euro pallets in readiness for shipment to the customer.
* Pick stock for clean room and transfers for despatch to sub-contractors.
* Ensure the Production Department is consistently supplied
* Ensure production has sufficient raw materials in the CME to continuously produce finish goods in
* Check supplier lot numbers, pick list and quantities for accuracy and highlight issues to warehouse management.
* Ensure all raw materials passed to production
* Be responsible for the picklist, until the work order is complete and raw materials returned to warehouse.
* Preparing weekly consumable requests.
* ERP transaction making sure these are accurate and timely.
* Quality procedures, Inventory control systems are always adhered to during the day to day working activities whilst always championing Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) principles / practices.
* Best Practice and ensure the maximum traceability of all warehouse components.
* Load and unload material by hand or with provided MHE.
* Ensure ERP transactions, for which warehouse/inventory are responsible, are carried out on a timely basis with the objectives of achieving 100% accuracy and minimising the elapsed time between material movement and ERP transaction.
* Operate a forklift truck to move and rearrange stock and ensure that products are stored safely and labelled correctly and safely,
* Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed and report any concerns
* Report unsafe practices or equipment and communicate problems to the appropriate line manager.
* Perform any additional tasks as required by the job role from time to time.
* Any additional tasks as required by the business or your Line Manager.
* Attend training and presentations to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
* Follow procedures for weekly paid staff in respect of site entry and exit procedures and recording of absences or additional hours worked.
Essential
* Experience in a similar role.
* Able to read, understand and work with detailed procedures and work instructions, whilst also having a good understanding of written and spoken English.
* Good numeracy skills to accurately count materials and generate basic summary information such as totals and percentages.
* Good team working skills, evidenced by willingness to support other team members and production management in the smooth running of the warehouse and production.
* Physical capability to work in a cleanroom environment for up to 8 hours/day.
* Sense of responsibility to assess tasks, equipment, and risks to minimise the risk of accidents to self and others and ensure that assets and materials are handled appropriately.
Desirable
* Previous experience of working to current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).
* Knowledge and understanding of 5S housekeeping procedures.
* Knowledge of Working Place Health and Safety and Warehouse Best Practice.
* License to drive trucks for transferring of materials between warehouses.
